New Hypersonic missile development centre. Brisbane, Australia. By Tim Tufuga.

Over two decades ago, I had reported through OSINT, the Australian scramjet project from my Alumni University, the University of Queensland, as a precursor to the present day Hypersonic missile program, in which, Russia and China had developed well ahead of the Americans for their Hypersonic missile system.
The University of Queensland had pioneered the scramjet, and in thus, the Hypersonic missle program, and yet, the US and the ADF, were slow in the uptake.
Finally, in 2022, Australian and American hypersonic technology through the scramjet program has opened a new centre here in Brisbane, Australia.
